Sometimes I just want to slap some fictional characters with their own book.
Hey everyone! My name is Hikari Tsuneyoshi. My friends call me Hikari and I am an ecstatic thirteen year-old eighth grader. I am from Burma but I have spent some of my childhood in Japan. I also happen to be one quarter Japanese. So that explains my last name. A word to describe me could be Eccedentesiast.
I was born in the month of April which means that I’m an Aries. Some people might say Aries are short tempered and impatient and that they think too much. I won’t argue as I know it’s hard for an Aries to relax. Their minds are always running at high speed, analyzing, thinking… mostly overthinking.
Before coming here to this amazing school Thalun, I attended Network. Personally, I thought changing schools would be a really risky thing to do, but after I came here, my thoughts changed. It was actually a good idea as I made new friends and it was a new experience for me.
I love photography as I believe it expresses what mood I am in. After I take these wonderful pictures, I paint them in my book. I believe photography is an art of observation. It has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them. ‘Veni. Vedi. Cepi’ I came, I saw, I captured.
I like reading books. They are one of my hobbies. I love the feeling that… even when you’re back in reality you still feel like you’re in a different world.
I was a kid who stayed up all night reading books, but lately because of the amount of homework and exams I’ve been receiving, I have stopped. I also enjoy playing the piano and singing because it helps me feel relaxed when I have too much stress.
Have you ever had that feeling when you read a book that’s just so well written that when you finish it you can’t help but just sit there in silence for a few minutes just thinking about it? Then you reread the last couple of sentences and just close the book and kind of stroke the cover in a weird sort of way and you just keep thinking because it leaves such a strong impression on you that it just kinda haunts you in the back of your mind for the next few days?
This is the quote that inspired me and also what I live by. I hope I introduced myself well enough.
Thank you.
Hi Hikari. Awesome blog post. It is interesting and well-written. My only complaint is I wish you would please add your image to the media library so you can use it as your featured image so we can see it before we click “read more.” Overall, well done. Now you can stop fake smiling. 🙂
