Students were given the inspiration and freedom to create a project that utilizes only sound. They worked with or created original music, sound effects, voice-overs, and manufactured sounds. Soundscapes can be a narrative story that only uses sound, it can be abstract, it can be experimental, or it can be musical, or it can be a combination of all of these.

“The soundscape I created portrays a person who desperately wants to go back home from a tiring long day. I recorded all these sounds personally and edited them using Soundtrap. I feel like most of the audience/listeners will be able to relate to this because I am sure you all have your own long tiring days.”
Listen to “Coming Home”:

“So in this track I had fun and played around with it! I worked on this and the track name is called ‘Bring me home/coveroftrustnobody.’ The reason I put ‘cover of trust nobody’ is that I added in the one verse of my cover for trust nobody by Shiloh Dynasty. In the end hope you enjoy the transition from the beats to my cover. In this track, all the main beats you are going to hear are originally played by me with synth piano, drum and guitar. I edited them and I hope they fit! -Peaceout”
