Hi,
So today, I would like to show you something that I’ve been working on for quite a while.
I created this “animation” by drawing every individual scene using my dad’s IPad; Medibang, a drawing app; and made them come to life by using Splice, a video editing app.
Among all of the work process, the voice-over was the toughest to work on. To record my voice, I had to first, place several pillows to form a box like shape and covered the entire structure with 2 layers of thick blankets. Then, I had to crawl inside my tiny fort, which only fits up to my torso, and record my voice with my earphones. Unfortunately, it was a very (very) hot day and I was drenched in my own sweat after I finished the voice-over. Trust me, it sounds awful but it was really fun. Although I am not fully satisfied with the audio, I am more than willing to improve my work.
This whole process was, personally, a challenge for me. It made me realize how hard these animators actually work and how long it takes for only one video to be produced. This project made me learn how to appreciate animators and their teams even more and I would definitely be down to either work on a new animation or improve my current video.
I really enjoyed working on this project and I would like to thank Ms. Kristen for giving me the opportunity to do so too.
❤
I am truly sorry if you couldn’t hear my voice very well.
I can imagine what you had to do to record your voice. But it was worth it, wasn’t it? You did good with your project, so give yourself a pat on the back, alright? 😉
