The Self-Building Sandwich
This sandwich was at first just mere pieces of meat and bread that couldn’t do anything by itself. But with the power of stop motion, these pieces of meat and bread will become a sandwich.
The pictures in the video were taken by Augustin and edited by Neal. We also used Imovie to make this stop motion. This animation is twenty frames per second. The making of this animation spanned over the course of December and the first few days of January. We used a Canon camera to take the pictures of the sandwich.
In this stop motion, we are making a ham and cheese sandwich. A ham and cheese sandwich is a common type of sandwich. It is made by putting cheese and sliced ham between two slices of bread. Vegetables like lettuce, tomato, onion or pickle slices can also be included.
The ham and cheese sandwich was first made by Patrick Connolly, an 18th-century Irish man that migrated to England. Since that day people have been making ham and cheese.
