Color is just a color.

Since I was young, I’ve seen many racial issues play out throughout the world. Although I never supported racist ideas, I also didn’t give myself time to think about it deeply enough. It seemed like a story that had no connection with me.

However, as I grow older and meet different kinds of people, I have gotten many chances to put myself in their shoes. The words engraved on history books, showing the tragic past that many innocent people had to suffer, poignantly motivated me to do something that could ameliorate and comfort their pain– I ended up making this image.

I believe in God, a creator of every living thing on earth. And I have no doubt that each and every human being is equally valuable. Classifying people according to their skin colors is totally ridiculous, and if anyone around you does that please don’t hesitate to tell him or her the truth: skin color is nothing, but just a color.

A Ray of Bros in the Sky

No, I don’t have twin sisters.

These pictures were taken last December when I went on a trip with my close friends to Bagan. I’ve always wanted to capture different moments in one picture, but it was somehow onerous. But thanks to Gimp, I have successfully juxtaposed my different selves in one place. As you can see, I’m making three different postures and facial expressions in each part.

Gimp was hard to use until I finally found out how everything works. I’m definitely sure I’ll be continuously using this program in the future!

The Scatterbrained Oddball

Yo!

Wanna know about this scatterbrained oddball?

Then, keep on reading!

My name is Anne-Marie Cornelius but you can just call me Anne, I guess. I am the oddball of Thalun International School’s 9th grade who loves telling very (very) lame jokes, singing, writing random stuff, and writing songs. I transferred to Thalun on the 8th of January in 2018 and I’m having a great time here.

I was born in Yangon and I am a Libra.  I have two younger brothers, which makes me the eldest among the siblings. My goals are to travel, explore, challenge myself, and experience new things.
