How many of you here know about Auntie Anne’s?
Auntie Anne’s is a shop my friends and I go very often; it is the one and only shop in Myanmar that sells pretzels, a best-selling shop.
Almost every Sunday, my friends and I would walk to Junction City through Bogyoke Market to buy pretzels at Auntie Anne’s and a drink at Chathai. My favorite there is Matcha Green Tea with bubbles. However, I enjoy milkshakes from Breadtalk.
Anyway, for this image, I used one of the pictures I took for my friends and cut out the background of it. Next, I lowered the opacity and blended the picture with the chosen background color. I then added text: Auntie Anne’s. Afterwards, I found royalty-free images of a pretzel and a milkshake. Then, I drew over it. Finally, I disposed of the royalty free images.
It’s a very simple look, yet whenever I look at it, I feel like, oh well.
Great experimentation and collage. I like your drawings the best. Consider the suggestions you got in class to make this even better. Nice color choices.
