Another Blog Post About Wai Yan… Again (Updated)

Hey guys, my name is Wai Yan and I’m from Myanmar. This is a little bit about myself.

I  go to Thalun International School and this is an assignment for computer class. I was born in late 2005 so currently, I’m 12 years old and am in the 7th grade. I like a lot of stuff like playing games, reading books and watching videos. At school, my favorite subjects are Science, History and Geography. I live in Yangon which is the biggest city in Myanmar. I’m also interested in watching YouTube or Movies in my free time. My favorite movie is probably Avengers: Infinity War. I have a lot more favorites but that’s what’s off the top of my head.

I have a little sister who is ten and is in the 5th grade. She is called Hay Thi. I have been to nine countries: Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Norway, Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, and Vietnam. I like to travel a lot. I am good at reading, studying and doing research.

I have already made a blog about myself in the past. This one would be like a little update. Last holiday, I went to the Learning Across Boarders Program which is like an international competition across Asia and the Pacific regions. We had to make Science Projects and compete against others from around the world. First you need to qualify in your school, then in your country and then at the international level. It was hosted in Hanoi, Vietnam. It was very, very fun. That trip was actually my very first trip abroad without my parents. It lasted nine days. We explored Hanoi, did the competition and had great fun. It was one of those experiences that you’ll never forget. After winning an award, I feel like I can do a lot more this year and now for the new school year, I want to do better.
